“Jornada Excelencia Operacional”
ULAB Ideas Meeting Point, Johnson Control y Aquora Business Education le invitan a la Jornada: “Excelencia Operacional” a cargo de David de la Ossa y José Domingo.
Johnson Controls lanzó en 2013 un modelo de madurez con el objetivo de alcanzar la Excelencia Operacional en la fabricación.
Junto a una completa estrategia para su implantación en todas las fábricas de la compañía, decidió lanzar una metodología para acelerarla consistente en la aplicación en una línea piloto de la prácticas del modelo que añaden más valor de la manera más rápida. Esta metodología ha resultado un gran éxito aportando grandes beneficios consiguiendo que se conozca el modelo de madurez en todos los niveles de las fábricas a través de la participación de los empleados en las diferentes actividades ejecutadas.
En esta jornada, junto a la introducción del modelo madurez, se compartirán las claves para conseguir implantar una cultura de la mejora continua de forma exitosa en una empresa de cualquier tamaño.
José Domingo
Vice President Operations EMEA, Johnson Controls Power Solutions
I first began working at Johnson Controls Power Solutions in 2002 and I have been Vice President Operations EMEA since September 2013, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Global Operations business. Responsible in this position for quality, health and safety as well as supply chain, environmental and facility management for the EMEA region, among other aspects. I represent the company at suppliers and clients, and plans the use of personnel, financial and technical resources.
I started my career at Power Solutions as Quality Manager for the Spanish plants. Subsequenty steps in my career include that of Plant Manager and Director for the production division in Spain. After that, Director Operations for Original Equipment in Central Europe.
Before joining Johnson Controls Power Solutions, I worked at Exide Technologies as a quality manager.
I obtained my Bachelor in Mathematics at Complutense University and my Master of Business Administration at the Instituto de Directivos de Empresas in Madrid. Member of the Spanish Red Cross as well as the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC).
David de la Ossa
Manufacturing Excellence Business Partner and Lean Manufacturing Manger EMEA, Johnson Controls Power Solutions.
I joined Johnson Controls in 2007 as Production Supervisor in our site in Guardamar (Alicante) for the start-up and operation of a state of the art technology for the lead-acid battery production.
In 2010 I was assigned to adapt to the European culture and to implement a High Performance Team model for hourly workers in all our plants in EMEA. In October 2012 I got promoted as Lean Manufacturing Manager for EMEA and I relocated to our Headquarters in Hannover (Germany) reporting to the CI Director and leading the Lean Manufacturing deployment and activities in our plants and training the Lean Implementers.
In 2013 Johnson Controls developed a Manufacturing Excellence Maturity Model and, after participating in its creation and improvement of the model testing it in some Alpha and Beta plants, I became the responsible for its deployment in our plants in EMEA.
Throughout all these years I have been working closely with the Global and Regional Operations Management contributing in the way to make Johnson Controls to become the most operational capable company.
